These numbers just keep climbing, and no, 2-3 million, or even 5 million, does not seem impossible, given the trajectory of the game and its exponential growth. I don’t want to say PUBG will never get there, because it doesn’t seem like there’s anything that PUBG can’t achieve at this point. Today, it’s unclear if its concurrents are still that high, but according to Riot Games a year ago, the game does have 100 million monthly players, so technically CCUs could be even higher. Concurrent player data is not given out or tracked actively by many non-Steam games, but we know that in 2014, League of Legends said it had 5 million peak concurrent daily players, which is still miles ahead of where PUBG is right now. But it’s still a ways off from some of the all-time greats.
